ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Footprints in the Sand Foundation is a 501 c (3) non profit organization that looks to provide support to children that have experienced a recent crisis. It is our goal to be a catalyst in propelling families forward and building life long relationships. Our non-profit approach began in 2003 by grief stricken parents and was designed to bring happiness and compassion to children and their families.

Our mission is simple: to serve children in need. The Foundation helps children and their families cope with the pain, fear, and isolation as a result of a life threatening medical condition, death of a family member, or a debilitating illness. Our purpose is to offer financial support, understanding, suggestions for coping, friendship, and most of all, hope through a community of sensitive and skilled volunteers and professionals.
